Career Driver and Truck Drivers USA Expand Partnership with Launch of Transportation’s First Driver Agent
PR Newswire
SHERWOOD, Ark., Oct. 14, 2026
The introduction of transportation’s first driver agent brings drivers, carriers and technology closer together in one connected recruiting ecosystem.
SHERWOOD, Ark., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Truck Drivers USA (TDUSA) and Career Driver today announced the next phase of their continued partnership with the launch of a new driver agent within the Career Driver mobile app, introducing a new way for drivers and carriers to connect during the hiring process.
The companies initially partnered to bring the Career Driver mobile app to TDUSA’s driver community, giving drivers a new way to discover opportunities and stay connected throughout their careers. Now, that partnership is expanding with the launch of the first driver agent of its kind in transportation and a broader vision to create a fully integrated recruiting ecosystem connecting drivers, carriers, technology and trusted driver communities.
The new driver agent is built to do more than simply help drivers search for jobs or answer questions. It can take action on a driver’s behalf, including calling carriers, coordinating and scheduling conversations, and connecting drivers directly with employers hiring for the jobs they want. For drivers, that means less time searching, calling and coordinating with multiple carriers. Their driver agent can help them find opportunities and take the next step toward getting connected.
For carriers, it introduces an entirely new touchpoint in driver recruiting. Recruiting teams can expect to communicate directly with a driver’s agent to coordinate and schedule calls with interested candidates. Carriers can also have their jobs featured within the Career Driver app through Truck Drivers USA, putting their opportunities in front of drivers using this new technology.
“Our partnership with Career Driver started with a shared vision for creating a better mobile experience for drivers, but we’ve always seen the opportunity to build something much bigger together,” said Lori Furnell, President of Truck Drivers USA. “The driver agent is an exciting next step because we’re moving beyond helping drivers simply find opportunities. We’re giving them technology that can help take action and make connections on their behalf, while giving our carrier partners another powerful way to reach and engage drivers.”
Truck Drivers USA currently reaches more than 1.5 million drivers every month through targeted advertising, email, SMS and social channels. Career Driver brings additional driver communities into the ecosystem, including Pro Driver Point and Gig Driver Point, expanding the network across trucking and the broader transportation industry.
Together, those communities create a growing network where drivers can discover opportunities and stay connected, while carriers gain new ways to put their jobs in front of the right candidates.
Career Driver’s technology adds another layer to that ecosystem, connecting driver discovery with the recruiting process and helping reduce the gaps that can occur between a driver finding a job, expressing interest and ultimately connecting with a recruiter. The driver agent takes that connection one step further. Rather than relying on drivers to manage every step themselves, the agent is designed to work on behalf of the driver. As the technology evolves, the goal is to give each driver a personalized resource that understands what they’re looking for, helps identify relevant opportunities and takes action to help make those connections happen.
“The driver agent is just the beginning,” said Bill Reed, Chief Product Officer at Career Driver. “Our bigger vision with this partnership is to build a comprehensive recruiting ecosystem that brings together driver communities, employers and technology in a completely new way. This first phase starts with helping drivers make connections and take action, but there’s much more to come. We have an opportunity to fundamentally change how drivers and employers connect, and we’re excited about the future.”
The launch of the driver agent represents the first phase of additional technology planned through the Career Driver and Truck Drivers USA partnership. The companies will continue expanding the ecosystem with new capabilities designed to improve how drivers discover opportunities, communicate with employers and navigate the hiring process, while helping carriers connect with driver talent more efficiently.
